ALGOMA CENTRAL CORPORATION ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF 2025 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

Algoma Central Corp. held its annual general meeting of shareholders on May 2, 2025. Each of the matters set out in this news release was voted upon at the meeting and is described in greater detail in the company's management information circular dated March 7, 2025, available on the company's website and on SEDAR+.

Election of directors

All nominees listed in the management information circular were elected as directors until the next annual general meeting of shareholders, with the support of 74.13 per cent of shares voted.

Appointment of the auditor

Professional accounting firm Deloitte LLP was appointed as the independent auditor of the company.
