AFFINOR GROWERS INC. APPOINTS DR. HYDER KHOJA, BIOTECHNOLOGY AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE INNOVATOR, AS AN ADVISOR TO THE COMPANY

Affinor Growers Inc. has appointed Dr. Hyder Ali Khoja as an adviser to the company.

Dr. Khoja, PhD, PAg, MSc, is a scientist and biotechnology entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience founding, leading and advising life science ventures across pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, functional medicine, psychedelics, cannabis, agriculture, sustainability and renewable energy. His work spans molecular biology, drug discovery, plant sciences and bioeconomy strategy, with a focus on translating scientific ideas into commercially relevant technologies. Dr. Khoja has developed proprietary intellectual property in mycelium-based biomedical platforms and rapid-acting anxiolytic therapeutics; pursued major research funding, including a shortlisted $50-million (U.S.) U.S. Department of Energy grant; and established research environments with good manufacturing practice and good laboratory practice certified capabilities supported by rigorous regulatory standards.

Pursuant to the consulting agreement entered into between the company and Dr. Khoja and subject to the company's stock option plan, the company will grant 500,000 stock options to Dr. Khoja in connection with the advisory services to be provided to the company. Each option is exercisable to acquire one common share of the company at an exercise price of five cents per share for a period of 36 months from the date of grant. The consulting agreement and the grant of options thereunder are subject to the policies of the Canadian Securities Exchange.
