AFFINOR GROWERS ANNOUNCES STOCK OPTION GRANT

Affinor Growers Inc. has granted 1.19 million stock options to directors, advisers, consultants and an officer of the company to purchase 1.19 million common shares in the capital of the company pursuant to the company's share option plan. The options, which vest immediately, are exercisable at a price of 10 cents per share and have a term of two years from the date of grant. The options, and the shares issuable upon exercise, are subject to a four-month hold period from the date of grant.
