The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Gary Ho has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Alaris Equity Partners Income Trust. The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Ho gave his unit target a 50-cent boost to $20.50. Analysts on average target the units at $19.92. Mr. Ho tweaked his unit target ahead in advance of the March 14 release of Alaris Equity's fourth quarter results. Mr. Ho says in a note: "We tweaked our revenue estimates slightly while maintaining our EBITDA estimates. Alaris Equity's portfolio remains healthy and we believe its larger investments (BCC and Planet Fitness) are both performing well. Lower risk-free rates also benefit FV on its common equity portfolio. We have now baked in a 5-per-cent dividend increase in 2H24." The Globe reported on Oct. 19, 2022, that Mr. Ho rated Alaris "buy." It was then worth $15.47. The Globe reported on Feb. 9, 2023, that Mr. Ho continued to rate the units "buy." In the item, Mr. Ho said he expected "outsized returns" from Alaris. The units could then be had for $18.34.
