AUSCAN RESOURCES GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

Auscan Resources Inc. has granted stock options to certain directors, officers, employees and consultants of the company for the purchase of up to 262,000 common shares, exercisable at a price of 28 cents per share, for three years. The granting of these options is subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange and disinterested shareholders.
