The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Feb. 28, edition that Scotia Capital analyst Robert Hope has reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Atco. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Hope gave his share target a $2 boost to $53. Analysts on average target the shares at $52.33. Mr. Hope says in a note: "Canadian Utilities (CU) results were in line with our expectations, while Atco beat our and consensus estimates. Our 2027 Canadian Utilities EPS estimates increase to reflect additional Yellowhead Mainline spend and lower corporate expenses, partially offset by an Atco Australia forecast below our expectations. We also increase our Atco estimates to reflect our higher Canadian Utilities estimates as well as a stronger structures contribution." The Globe reported on Aug. 21 that Scotia Capital analysts Andrew Weisel and Robert Hope had reaffirmed Atco at "sector perform." It was then worth $44.62. The Globe reported on Oct. 4 that RBC analyst Robert Kwan continued to rank Atco "sector perform." The shares could then be had for $47.91. The Globe reported on Nov. 19 that National Bank had reaffirmed its "sector perform" recommendation for Atco. It was then worth $48.38.
