ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD), a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, real estate and value-added services, today announced the opening of its new Global Innovation Center at the company's Atlanta headquarters and the appointment of Anita Nanda as Chief Technology & Solutions Officer.

The Global Innovation Center brings together technology, automation, data and analytics, business solutions and operational expertise to accelerate decision-making, improve execution and develop solutions that create value for Americold and its customers.

At the heart of the center is Americold's state-of-the-art Global Operations Command Center, which centralizes around-the-clock oversight of the company's automated facilities worldwide. Rather than replicating specialized monitoring and support capabilities at individual sites, Americold can monitor and manage automated operations from one location, enabling real-time optimization, rapid problem-solving and coordinated support. The centralized model also strengthens operational resilience and redundancy while creating efficiencies.

To lead Americold's broader technology and solutions strategy, the company has appointed Anita Nanda as Chief Technology & Solutions Officer.

Nanda, who was instrumental in the design and implementation of the Global Operations Command Center, will oversee the company's global Technology and Solutions organization, including enterprise technology, automation, cybersecurity, business solutions, data and analytics, and digital transformation. Her expanded role more directly connects technology strategy and solutions development with Americold's operational priorities and customer needs, helping focus resources and innovation where they can have the greatest impact.

Nanda brings more than two decades of experience spanning technology, engineering, automation and operations. Since joining Americold in 2022, she has held leadership positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Senior Vice President, Global Development and Automation, and has also served as interim leader of Americold's Technology organization. Nanda currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Controlled Environment Building Association (CEBA).

The Global Innovation Center is currently open to Americold associates and is expected to welcome customers beginning in the first quarter of 2027.
