E-Power Awarded RMB 343 Million (Approximately US$51.04 Million) Turnkey Contract to Deliver Artificial Graphite and Silicon-Carbon Anode Production Lines

2026-08-27 08:30 ET - News Release

DOVER, USA, Aug. 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- E-Power Inc. (“E-Power,” the “Company,” “we” or “our”) (NASDAQ: EPOW), a leading provider of AI Data Center (AIDC) microgrid solutions and advanced battery materials, today announced that its indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary, Shandong Sunrise Technology Co., Ltd. (“Shandong Sunrise”), has been awarded and has entered into a turnkey equipment and technology services contract valued at RMB 343,473,000 (approximately US$51.1 million) with Shandong Fusion New Material Co., Ltd. (the “Customer”).

Shandong Sunrise was selected as the supplier through a competitive procurement process concluded on June 25, 2026, and the contract was executed the same day (the “Contract”). The award covers the complete design, supply, installation, and commissioning of two production lines for the Customer’s advanced electronic materials project in Laiwu District, Jinan, Shandong Province, China.

Scope of the Contract

•   Artificial Graphite Anode Line: A fully automated production line with a designed capacity of 20,000 tons per year.

•   Silicon-Carbon Anode Line: A production line with a designed capacity of 1,000 tons per year, incorporating CVD silicon-carbon deposition and high-temperature graphite carbonization processes.

•   Turnkey Delivery: A fixed-price package covering process and equipment design, equipment supply, on-site installation, commissioning, operator training and technical documentation.

A New Revenue Model: From Materials Producer to Full-Solution Provider

The award marks E-Power’s entry into the design, engineering and equipment supply of complete anode production lines — extending the Company’s operations beyond materials manufacturing into technology and services revenue. The Company believes this award represents the commercialization of process know-how its management has accumulated over more than two decades of experience in building and operating graphite anode facilities, and that it demonstrates E-Power’s ability to provide silicon-carbon anode process technology solutions for the production of silicon-carbon anode material, a next-generation material for high-energy-density batteries, at an industrial scale.

The contract is the Company’s largest technology and equipment award to date and follows a strategic cooperation framework agreement signed with the Customer in March 2026, pursuant to which framework agreement E-Power’s engineering team has been providing support to the project since its execution. Work under the Contract is underway, and the Company intends to provide updates as key project milestones are reached.

“This award reflects something we have believed for a long time: the process know-how we have accumulated in building and operating our own anode plants is itself a valuable asset,” said Mr. Haiping Hu, the founder, CEO and Chairman of E-Power Inc. “We believe that the delivery of a complete artificial graphite line, together with a silicon-carbon line, demonstrates our team’s ability to execute industrial-scale projects for third-party customers, not only for ourselves. We anticipate that there may be further opportunities in this technology-and-services model as the industry builds out next-generation anode capacity.”
