RENO, Nev., Aug. 03, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eagle Nuclear Energy Corp. (“Eagle” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: NUCL), a next-generation nuclear energy company that owns one of the largest conventional, measured and indicated uranium deposits in the United States, today announced that it has been added to the Solactive Global Uranium & Nuclear Components Total Return Index (the “Solactive Index” or the “Index”), a step that qualifies the Company for the Global X Uranium ETF (NYSE Arca: URA). Eagle’s inclusion in the Solactive Index comes as part of the Index’s semi-annual rebalancing, with trading commencing at the market open on Monday, August 3, 2026.
The Solactive Index tracks companies across the nuclear fuel cycle. This includes companies with a focus on uranium mining, exploration, conversion, enrichment, nuclear fuel production, and nuclear technologies and components. The Solactive Index serves as a benchmark for exchange traded funds (ETFs) to gain exposure to the global nuclear industry and companies who define the sector. Eagle’s inclusion in this Index reflects the Company’s growing presence in the global nuclear space and uranium supply chain.
In conjunction with the addition to the Solactive Index, Eagle’s common stock now qualifies for the Global X Uranium ETF, one of the world’s foremost nuclear and uranium focused ETFs. With approximately $5 billion in net assets, the Global X Uranium ETF provides investors with passive exposure to leading companies across the nuclear sector.
“Today’s announcement is an important milestone for Eagle and includes us on the shortlist of prominent companies in the nuclear and uranium industry,” said Eagle CEO Mark Mukhija. “Inclusion in Solactive’s Global Uranium & Nuclear Components Total Return Index highlights our expanding role in global nuclear energy markets and is a testament to the work being done by our team every day. We continue to work towards development of an integrated nuclear energy platform combining domestic uranium resources with advanced SMR technology and inclusion in the Solactive Index increases our visibility in the public markets and exposure with nuclear-focused investors.”
Eagle’s inclusion in the Solactive Index came as part of the Index’s ordinary adjustment, announced by Solactive AG (“Solactive”) on July 27, 2026, and implemented on August 3, 2026. Index composition, calculation and maintenance are determined solely by Solactive’s rules-based methodology.
