Desert Mountain Energy Announces Strategic Agreement with Hethos Ltd. and Provides a Corporate Update

Vancouver, Canada – TheNewswire - (October 7, 2026) — DESERT MOUNTAIN ENERGY CORP. (the “Company”) (“DME”) (TSX.V: DME, U.S. OTC: DMEHF, Frankfurt: QM01) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Hethos Ltd. (the “Agreement”), which serves as the exclusive record of the parties’ agreements and maintains and enhances prior licensing arrangements.

Under the Agreement, DME and Desert Energy UK Ltd.’s royalty position will extend to projects throughout the United Kingdom and other projects within Europe. DME has also agreed to share proprietary information relating to its U.S. holdings with respect to both natural and stimulated hydrogen prospects.

DME and Desert Energy UK Ltd. retain the right to participate directly in applicable projects. Where DME elects not to participate directly, the Company will receive a 5% royalty, in addition to applicable licensing fees for the use of its proprietary helium extraction plant design. The Company will take the lead position on projects currently being developed.

Desert Energy UK Ltd. Appointments

The Company is also pleased to announce that Michael Hart, former Deputy CEO and Head of Business Development at Amundi, has joined the board of Desert Energy UK Ltd. During his tenure at Amundi, Mr. Hart led the development of alpha-driven solutions, identifying tailored and proactive strategies designed to address specific client requirements.

In addition, Pierre Levin, who holds an B.S. in Mining & Geology from Mines Paris, an M.S. in Natural Resource Technologies and credentials from HEC, has agreed to act as an outside technical advisor on stimulated and natural hydrogen production projects in France, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Arizona Lease Update

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (“BLM”) has completed a multi-year review and returned to good standing certain leases that had previously been placed in suspense due to external concerns. These leases include acreage directly offsetting the north side of the Pinta Dome Helium Field in Arizona.

The Company is currently reviewing opportunities to work with another company on the potential development of these properties.

Carbon Credit Initiatives

DME Carbon Cap LLC is completing filings related to its carbon credit initiatives, including filings with Verra and the Climate Action Reserve.

Proprietary Extraction Data

The Company continues discussions regarding opportunities to advance and monetize its proprietary extraction data generated through plant operations in both nitrogen-rich and methane-rich environments. The data forms part of DME’s broader strategy to leverage the technical knowledge and intellectual property developed through the operation of its proprietary extraction technology.
