Toronto, Ontario – January 15, 2026 – TheNewswire - Hybrid Power Solutions Inc. (CSE: HPSS) (OTC: HPSIF) (FSE: E092) ("Hybrid" or the "Company"), a leading Canadian manufacturer of portable and fuel-free power solutions, is pleased to announce that it has received an initial purchase order (PO) on January 5th , 2026 from a leading global provider of AI based security, drone protection and drone deployment company for public safety agencies and defense for a trial unit of its Batt Pack Energy portable power system.

The customer develops advanced technology platforms—including body-worn cameras, in-car video systems, energy devices, and cloud-based evidence management tools—designed to enhance safety, transparency, and operational efficiency for law enforcement, military, corrections, fire, EMS, and other public safety organizations. It also provides drone and drone defense systems on a global stage.

The Batt Pack Energy, a high-capacity portable battery-based power solution, offers quiet, emission-free, and modular operation as a reliable alternative to traditional fuel generators. This trial deployment will evaluate the Batt Pack Energy's performance in supporting field operations, where dependable, low-signature portable power is essential for charging equipment, powering devices, and enabling mission-critical activities in remote or off-grid environments.

“This initial PO represents a significant step in expanding our footprint into the public safety, defense and law enforcement technology sector,” said François Byrne, CEO of Hybrid Power Solutions. “The customer’s commitment to innovation in protecting life and enhancing operational capabilities aligns closely with our mission to deliver clean, reliable power solutions that reduce operational noise, fuel logistics, and emissions while performing in demanding conditions. We are excited to support their trials and demonstrate the value of our Batt Pack Energy in real-world public safety applications.”

The choice to trial the Batt Pack Energy arose from its innovative capabilities and the flexibility at HPS to add key features specific to this customer. The Canadian manufacturing along with a robust supply chain was essential to the clients purchasing decision. Following successful completion of this trial and the customer’s internal approval processes, this engagement may lead to a follow ‑ on purchase program of up to approximately 500 – 600 units over the next 18 months. There is no assurance that any such follow ‑ on order will be received. The customer information is to be released upon their approval after trials have been completed.

In addition, Hybrid Power Solutions is pleased to announce its participation as one of ten selected Canadian innovative transportation and mobility companies in the Arizona Transportation Roadshow, taking place January 20-23, 2026, in Greater Phoenix. Organized by the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in partnership with Global Ties Arizona, the roadshow will facilitate targeted meetings, industry roundtables, and networking sessions with key public- and private-sector leaders in Arizona's transportation, logistics, and infrastructure ecosystem. Highlights include panels on public and private multimodal transportation, site visits to facilities like COSIC LLC and Mesa Gateway Airport, engagements with cities such as Phoenix, Mesa, Avondale, and Surprise, and a targeted B2B meeting with Arizona Public Service (APS) to explore collaboration opportunities in clean energy and sustainable power solutions for utility and infrastructure applications.

“This roadshow provides an excellent platform to showcase our fuel-free power technologies to decision-makers in one of North America's fastest-growing mobility hubs,” added Byrne. “We look forward to building partnerships that advance sustainable transportation and infrastructure initiatives across the U.S.-Canada border.”

The Batt Pack Energy provides robust power delivery in a compact, rugged design, making it well-suited for powering sensitive electronics, extended field deployments, and operations where quiet and low-emission performance are priorities.

Hybrid Power Solutions looks forward to collaborating with the customer throughout the trial period and exploring opportunities for broader integration of its portable power systems into public safety ecosystems, while leveraging insights and connections from the Arizona Roadshow to drive further market expansion.
