WALTHAM, Mass. -- (Business Wire)

Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the enterprise AI software company for mission-critical work, today announced Forrester Research named Pega a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: AppGen and Low-Code Platforms, Q4 2026 (1). Pega received the highest scores possible in eight of the 21 total evaluation criteria.

The report explains, “Pegasystems’ vision is built on the belief that enterprises need governed agentic systems, not standalone AI agents. Its above-par roadmap centers on advancing its AI capabilities in Blueprint, Infinity Studio, and agentic process orchestration to help organizations speed innovative software delivery. At the same time, it emphasizes maintaining trust, compliance, and operational control.”

Forrester’s evaluation says, “Pegasystems supports app development, workflow automation, AI-assisted design, decisioning, orchestration, governance, testing, deployment, and observability. Its strengths come through its unified asset creation, access control, and guardrails that create balance between simplified creation and strong governance. Pegasystems’ focus continues to be the most complex enterprise processes, adaptive case management, decision orchestration, and governed automation.”

The report’s profile on Pega concludes that “Pegasystems is a strong fit for enterprises pursuing complex process transformation, customer journey orchestration, and governed agentic automation.”

Pega was among the 13 most significant AppGen and Low-Code Platform providers evaluated and received the highest scores possible in the criteria of asset creation, SDLC support, creation models/abstractions, asset control & guardrails, risk and compliance, and observability and operations within the Current Offering category. It also received the highest scores possible in criteria of vision and roadmap within the Strategy category.

Forrester evaluated Pega Infinity™, Pega’s AI suite of products designed to help enterprises scale AI with confidence. This included Pega Platform™ for designing, automating, and optimizing business workflows, and Pega Blueprint®, a design agent for transforming operational insights into agentic workflows. Pega’s agentic process orchestration coordinates AI agents, people, and systems together within governed workflows, balancing agentic reasoning with deterministic controls to help enterprises innovate faster while maintaining predictability, governance, and control.

This report is among Pega’s recent analyst recognition for its enterprise AI and automation capabilities. Pega was recognized as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: AI Platforms, Q3 2026 (2), the Gartner® Magic Quadrant for Process Intelligence Platforms (3), The Forrester Wave™: Real-Time Interaction Management Software (RTIMS), Q4 2025 (4), the Gartner® Magic Quadrant for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (5), The Forrester Wave™ for Digital Process Automation, Q3 2025 report (6), and a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: AI Decisioning Platforms, Q2 2025 (7).
