Chamberlain University, America's largest school of nursing and a Covista (NYSE: CVSA) institution, today announced it will open a new campus in Nashville, Tennessee, its first location in the state. The campus continues Chamberlain's national expansion strategy to address the U.S. healthcare workforce shortage and will offer day, evening and weekend class options, giving students more flexible opportunities to pursue a nursing degree. The university will begin accepting applications on September 9, 2026, with pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) classes beginning January 4, 2027.

The new campus is a direct response to Tennessee's widening healthcare workforce gap. According to the Covista Care Capacity Monitor 2026, fielded by Gallup, the state had more than three open healthcare jobs last year for every person looking for one. In Nashville, the gap is even wider; for every new healthcare graduate, there are 16 open healthcare positions. Chamberlain's new campus will train nurses who already call Middle Tennessee home, students who will graduate practice-ready and go on to serve the community that needs them most.

Students will train in a high-tech SIMCARE CENTER™ on campus and complete direct patient care clinicals with local health system partners, graduating practice-ready into the Tennessee workforce. Chamberlain students can also earn AI certificates built specifically for nursing in partnership with Google Cloud. The program gives students a clear three-year path to a BSN, with rolling admission up to six times a year and flexible day, evening and weekend class offerings.
