Concentra Appoints Dr. Jill Rosenthal as Chief Medical Officer to Advance Clinical Innovation and Workforce Health

Concentra® (NYSE: CON), the nation's leader in occupational medicine, today announced that nationally recognized occupational medicine leader Jill Rosenthal, MD, MPH, will join the company Sept. 1 and assume the role of chief medical officer, effective Jan. 1, 2027. Returning to the organization where she previously served in physician leadership roles, including area medical director,Dr. Rosenthal will lead Concentra's national clinical strategy, physician leadership, quality and patient safety initiatives, evidence-based care programs, and medical innovation as employers increasingly seek integrated workforce health solutions. She succeeds longtime chief medical officer, Dr. John Anderson, who previously announced his retirement effective Dec. 31, 2026, after 33 years with Concentra.

Dr. Rosenthal returns to Concentra after more than 16 years as chief medical officer at Zenith Insurance Company, where she led medical strategy, clinical innovation, and quality initiatives supporting employers and injured workers. She also serves as the 2026 president of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), bringing national leadership and a broad perspective from both provider and payer organizations.

Working closely with Concentra's clinical and operational leaders, Dr. Rosenthal will drive clinical strategy with service excellence, advancing consistent, high-quality care across the organization's national footprint. This integrated approach further strengthens Concentra's position as the nation's leading occupational health care provider while helping employers build healthier, safer, and more productive workforces.
