Volato AI Launches with Flyte as First Enterprise Customer

2026-08-04 08:30 ET - News Release

Purpose-built platform introduces aviation-specific AI agents to improve productivity, customer responsiveness, and operating efficiency

Commercial launch complements Volato’s primary strategic focus on completing an AI infrastructure business combination

ATLANTA -- (Business Wire)

Volato Group, Inc. (NYSE American: SOAR) (“Volato” or the “Company”) today announced the commercial launch and first enterprise deployment of Volato AI, its purpose-built enterprise artificial intelligence platform for business aviation. Flyte, a technology-enabled regional air mobility company owned by Catheter Precision, Inc. (NYSE American: VTAK), will serve as the platform’s inaugural enterprise customer.

Volato remains principally focused on advancing its previously announced pending AI infrastructure business combination, which continues to represent the Company’s primary strategic priority. The commercial launch of Volato AI reflects the Company’s continued execution across its existing technology portfolio while the Company works toward completing the proposed transaction.

Volato AI transforms decades of proprietary aviation software development, real-world operating workflows, and combined industry experience into aviation-specific AI agents capable of supporting complex, knowledge-intensive workflows across business aviation. The enterprise platform is designed to increase employee productivity, improve customer responsiveness, reduce administrative workload, and help operators scale without proportional increases in overhead.

Purpose-built specifically for aviation, Volato AI enables operators to deploy intelligent digital employees that understand the unique operational requirements of Part 135 charter operations from day one. Unlike general-purpose AI applications, Volato AI was developed by aviation professionals using years of operational experience, proprietary software, and real-world workflows to solve the industry’s most complex operational challenges.

“We believe artificial intelligence will fundamentally reshape how aviation businesses operate,” said Matt Liotta, Chief Executive Officer of Volato Group. “Operators should not have to become AI companies to benefit from this technology. Our objective is to provide intelligent digital teammates that understand aviation and can support experienced professionals from the beginning. That allows employees to spend less time on repetitive administrative work and more time serving customers, strengthening operations, and making higher-value decisions.”

Liotta continued, “Volato AI represents disciplined execution within our existing business while we remain focused on completing our pending AI infrastructure transaction. We believe this platform can create near-term commercial value and establish Volato as an early provider of purpose-built enterprise AI for business aviation.”

As Volato AI’s inaugural enterprise customer, Flyte will work with the Volato AI team to implement aviation-specific agents across selected operational workflows. The deployment will also provide real-world operating feedback intended to inform product refinement, additional integrations, and future customer implementations.

Initial applications are expected to include:

  • Customer communications
  • Charter sales support
  • Flight quoting
  • Crew coordination
  • Maintenance scheduling
  • Dispatch support
  • Compliance assistance
  • Document management
  • Operational scheduling
  • Administrative workflow automation

By embedding AI capabilities directly into daily operations, Volato AI is designed to shorten response times, increase workforce productivity, improve consistency, and reduce repetitive manual work while supporting a stronger customer experience.

“We’re excited to become the first enterprise customer of Volato AI,” said Marc Sellouk, CEO of Flyte. “As Flyte continues to grow, we believe intelligent automation will become a critical component of scaling our operations efficiently while maintaining the exceptional customer experience our clients expect. We look forward to partnering with the Volato AI team as they build what we believe can become foundational enterprise infrastructure for the future of business aviation.”

The Flyte deployment represents the first commercial step in Volato AI’s strategy to develop a scalable enterprise platform for aircraft operators and aviation service providers. Rather than requiring each organization to independently build, train, and maintain proprietary AI systems, Volato AI is developing a reusable library of aviation-specific agents that can be configured and deployed across operators with different fleet sizes, operating models, and business requirements.

Business aviation operators continue to contend with labor constraints, increasing administrative complexity, fragmented software systems, and rising customer expectations. Volato believes these challenges create a meaningful market opportunity for purpose-built AI solutions that help experienced aviation professionals work more efficiently without replacing the operational judgment and accountability required within a highly regulated industry.

Over time, Volato AI intends to expand its platform across aircraft operators, charter providers, fleet managers, aircraft owners, maintenance organizations, and other aviation service businesses. The Company’s strategy is to combine specialized aviation knowledge with intelligent automation to modernize operational workflows, improve service delivery, and create meaningful operating leverage across the business aviation ecosystem.

Volato’s potential AI infrastructure business combination remains subject to due diligence, the negotiation and execution of definitive agreements, applicable regulatory and exchange requirements, and other customary conditions. There can be no assurance that the proposed transaction will be completed on the anticipated terms or timeline, or at all.
