STAMFORD, Conn. -- (Business Wire)
Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study examining service providers that enable organizations to strengthen network resilience, modernize operations and prepare infrastructure for the demands of AI-enabled business.
The study results will be published in a series of comprehensive ISG Provider Lens® reports, called Enterprise Managed Network Services, scheduled to be released in December 2026. The reports will cover companies offering services including network transformation, managed network operations, network as a service (NaaS) and managed enterprise connectivity services.
Enterprise buyers will be able to use insights from the reports to evaluate their current vendor relationships, identify potential new engagements and compare available offerings. ISG advisors will use the research to guide clients through increasingly complex transformation and platform investment decisions.
Enterprise networks have become the foundation of digital business as applications, users, data and workloads are distributed across multiple physical locations and cloud environments. To meet evolving business requirements under these conditions, organizations are adopting more flexible operating models that combine automation, AI-assisted operations, cloud connectivity and experience assurance. Increasingly, they seek managed services to help them modernize legacy networking and improve security, resilience, visibility and operational agility.
“Enterprise networks have evolved from connectivity platforms into strategic business infrastructure that must adapt to changing business, application and security requirements,” said Heiko Henkes, director and principal analyst at ISG. “To remain competitive amid rapid advances in technology, organizations need network services that support AI-ready workloads while reducing operational complexity.”
ISG has distributed surveys to more than 75 enterprise managed network service providers. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce four quadrants representing the enterprise managed network services the typical enterprise is buying, based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. The four quadrants are:
- Network Transformation Services, evaluating providers that deliver consulting-led network transformation services, helping enterprises reduce complexity, coordinate ecosystems and translate business, security, application and cloud requirements into transformation roadmaps.
- Managed Network Service Evolution, assessing providers of fully managed, enterprise-grade network services that assume end-to-end responsibility for enterprise network environments through AI-assisted operations, automation, predictive analytics and operational transformation.
- Network as a Service (NaaS), covering providers of cloud-native, consumption-based services that integrate networking and security through centralized management, automated provisioning and end-to-end orchestration in multicloud and multivendor environments.
- Managed Enterprise Connectivity Solutions, evaluating providers delivering managed enterprise connectivity services in India with end-to-end accountability, resilient last-mile delivery, cloud connectivity and service assurance.
Geographically focused reports from the study will cover the global enterprise managed network services market and examine products and services available in the U.S., Europe and Asia Pacific. ISG analysts Kenn Walters (Europe and U.S.) and Yash Jethani Pradeep (Asia Pacific) will serve as authors of the reports.
A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as enterprise managed network service providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study.
All 2026 ISG Provider Lens evaluations feature expanded customer experience (CX) data capturing real-world enterprise feedback on specific provider services and solutions, based on ISG’s continuous CX research.
