STAMFORD, Conn. -- (Business Wire)

Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study examining providers that help enterprises manage increasingly complex multicloud environments as AI adoption accelerates.

The study results will be published in a series of comprehensive ISG Provider Lens® reports, called Multi Public Cloud Services, scheduled to be released in December 2026. The reports will cover a wide range of services for enterprises using public clouds, including services related to cloud transformation, hyperscale infrastructure, sovereign clouds, SAP HANA infrastructure and file sharing.

Enterprise buyers will be able to use insights from the reports to evaluate their current vendor relationships, identify potential new engagements and compare available offerings. ISG advisors will use the research to guide clients through increasingly complex transformation and platform investment decisions.

As AI reshapes enterprise cloud strategies, more organizations are adopting multiple public cloud platforms to support innovation, regulatory compliance, sustainability and operational resilience. The growing use of generative AI and emerging agentic AI workloads is increasing demand for cloud automation, data readiness, security, observability and cost management. Enterprises are also reassessing how they run critical workloads and manage data, creating greater demand for providers that combine technical expertise, governance capabilities and regulatory awareness in diverse cloud ecosystems.

“Operational maturity is becoming a key requirement as enterprises scale cloud environments across the business,” said Heiko Henkes, managing director and principal analyst at ISG. “Providers that can deliver and support secure, compliant operations with transparent costs are well positioned to meet those needs.”

ISG has distributed surveys to nearly 300 public cloud service providers. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce six quadrants representing the services typical enterprises are buying for multicloud environments, based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. The six quadrants are:

  • Consulting and Transformation Services, evaluating providers that help organizations shape multicloud strategies and modernize technology environments. These providers support enterprises through planning, migration and transformation initiatives while laying the foundation for AI-enabled business processes.
  • Managed Services, assessing providers that oversee and optimize day-to-day cloud operations across multiple platforms. These providers help enterprises improve reliability, control costs and strengthen security through automation and ongoing management.
  • Hyperscale Infrastructure and Platform Services, covering providers that deliver infrastructure and platform capabilities for cloud-native and AI-enabled applications. These providers help organizations accelerate innovation while maintaining control of cloud environments.
  • SAP HANA Infrastructure Services, evaluating providers that host and support SAP workloads on certified cloud infrastructure. They should help organizations modernize SAP landscapes while maintaining performance, availability and regulatory compliance.
  • Secure Enterprise Filesharing Services, assessing providers of services for secure, controlled sharing of files for enterprise collaboration. These providers help enterprises share business-critical content while maintaining security, compliance and data sovereignty.
  • Sovereign Cloud Infrastructure Services, covering providers of sovereign cloud environments for regulated workloads and sensitive data services. They should help organizations maintain data residency, operational control and compliance while supporting AI workloads.

Geographically focused reports from the study will cover the global multi public cloud market and examine products and services available in Asia Pacific, Brazil, the EU, France, Germany, the Nordics, Switzerland, the U.K., the U.S. and the U.S. Public Sector. ISG analysts Shashank Rajmane (U.S. and U.S. Public Sector), Meenakshi Srivastava (Asia Pacific, EU, Nordics and U.K.), Manoj M (France), Pedro L. Bicudo Maschio (Brazil and France), and Ulrich Meister and Wolfgang Heinhaus (Germany and Switzerland) will serve as authors of the reports.

A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as multi public cloud service providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study.

All 2026 ISG Provider Lens evaluations feature expanded customer experience (CX) data capturing real-world enterprise feedback on specific provider services and solutions, based on ISG’s continuous CX research.
