Armstrong World Industries, Inc. The report highlights the company’s progress in 2025 across its three sustainability pillars: Healthy and Circular Products, Healthy Planet and Thriving People and Communities, all aligned with the company’s purpose of making a positive difference in the spaces where people live, work, learn, heal and play.

The 2026 Sustainability Report spotlights enhancements to Armstrong’s innovative Templok® energy saving ceiling tiles, which increase thermal storage capacity and eliminate chemicals of concern. Templok is now part of the company’s Sustain® portfolio, representing the company’s most sustainable, high‑performance ceiling products that meet stringent environmental standards in our industry.
The report highlights continued progress across AWI’s sustainability initiatives, including implementation of advanced wastewater processing at the Hilliard, Ohio, facility to help divert paint waste from landfill. The company advanced renewable energy and carbon reduction efforts while continuing to invest in operational efficiencies that support both sustainability priorities and long-term business performance.
AWI also advanced its people-first culture through ongoing investments in employee growth, development and workplace safety. Through the Armstrong World Industries Foundation and corporate giving initiatives, AWI continued supporting education, environmental protection and thriving neighborhoods in the communities where employees live and work.
AWI prepared the 2026 Sustainability Report in reference to the GRI Standards and in alignment with the following additional frameworks and standards: Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Construction Materials and Building Products and Furnishings Standards, the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) IFRS S2 Climate-Related Disclosures. This report also serves as AWI’s United Nations Global Compact Communication on Progress.
