Franklin Templeton Strengthens Global Client Group Leadership with Key Appointments

2026-03-31 09:30 ET - News Release

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- (Business Wire)

Franklin Templeton, a global investment leader, today announced the appointment of Brett Mossman as Head of U.S. Product and Lyenda Delp as Head of Global Insurance and Institutional Asset Solutions, alongside the elevation of Kim Roy to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Global Client Group (GCG). These appointments reflect the firm’s strategy of aligning its Global Client Group around a simpler, more connected model designed to accelerate growth and deepen trusted partnerships with clients worldwide.

Mossman will lead U.S. Product across wealth and institutional channels, working with investment, sales, and product specialists to bring Franklin Templeton’s leading investment capabilities to clients across mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), separately managed accounts, and model portfolios. He brings extensive experience in product strategy, portfolio construction, the implementation of technology to scale portfolio management in client portfolios, and the broad use of model portfolios across wealth platforms. He previously held senior leadership roles at BlackRock across U.S. Wealth Advisory, portfolio solutions, and iShares product consulting.

“I am incredibly excited to join Franklin Templeton at such a pivotal moment for both the firm and the industry,” said Brett Mossman, Head of U.S. Product. “Franklin Templeton has an exceptional breadth of investment expertise, and we are simplifying how clients access our best ideas and implement them in their portfolios.”

Delp will lead the newly formed Global Insurance and Institutional Asset Solutions group, which brings together Franklin Templeton’s multi-asset institutional platform. In this role, she will oversee strategy and client engagement across insurance general accounts, institutional liquidity including digital assets, and client segments globally. Delp brings a distinguished asset management career, beginning at Goldman Sachs and then advancing to senior leadership roles at BlackRock and Northern Trust.

“Institutional clients are looking for partners who can navigate complexity and provide tailored solutions at scale,” said Lyenda Delp, Head of Global Insurance and Institutional Asset Solutions. “By bringing together our capabilities under a more unified approach, we can deepen relationships and deliver more strategic outcomes.”

In her new, elevated role as GCG Chief Operating Officer, Roy, who joined the firm in 1999, will lead Global Client Group teams to simplify how Franklin Templeton presents itself to clients, with an emphasis on speed to market and cross-functional alignment, while advancing the integration of global client data, customer relationship management (CRM), artificial intelligence, and client service capabilities to enable more proactive and efficient client engagement.

“We are reshaping our leadership with our clients at the center and aligning to how they want to engage – through a more integrated client experience,” said Daniel Gamba, Franklin Templeton Co-President and Chief Commercial Officer. “By operating as One Franklin Templeton, we are strengthening our ability to deliver across our platform, scale our highest-growth opportunities, and build deeper, more trusted client partnerships globally.”

Franklin Templeton is positioning for its next phase of growth, broadening access to its platform and aligning more closely to evolving client needs across global markets. These leadership appointments reinforce the firm’s ability to execute with discipline and scale its global impact.
