This award recognizes influential professionals whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage supply chains for competitive advantage. 2026 marks the fourth consecutive year RXO leaders have received this award; a recognition the company has earned each year since its inception in November 2022.

Matt Carlson is the vice president of product at RXO and was recognized in the Rising Stars category. In his role, Carlson is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of RXO’s technology roadmap for its flagship proprietary systems, RXO Connect^®, RXO Drive^® and Freight Optimizer. For more than a year, he has led one of the most significant technology integrations in the industry by unifying legacy platforms of RXO and Coyote Logistics.

Alyssa Slaughter serves as the senior director of operations at RXO and is responsible for the execution, strategic business growth and profitability of three brokerage branches in Charlotte, N.C., where the company is headquartered. She was recognized in the Leaders in Excellence category. Recently, Slaughter drove a nearly 10% increase in volume across her branches and directed a new "Manager-in-Training" program that resulted in a 100% promotion rate for participants.
