BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Insmed Incorporated (Nasdaq: INSM), a people-first global biopharmaceutical company striving to deliver first- and best-in-class therapies to transform the lives of patients facing serious diseases, today holds its fifth annual Global Day of Good, a company-wide day of service during which employees volunteer simultaneously in their respective communities around the world.

This year's day of service is the Company's largest and most far-reaching yet, with 1,350 employees across the U.S., Europe, and Japan participating in 50 activities benefiting more than 50 nonprofit organizations. Team members will support initiatives focused on health, education, and human services.

"At Insmed, giving back is woven into who we are as a company, and it's a commitment that only grows stronger with time," said Nicole Schaeffer, Chief People Strategy Officer of Insmed. "Reflecting back to our inaugural Global Day of Good in 2022, which brought together 500 employees, it's humbling to think about how far we have come and the meaningful difference we continue to make in the communities where we live and work. As we celebrate this fifth anniversary, I'm incredibly proud of how this event has evolved and grateful for the community relationships that have helped make it possible."

Over the past five years, Insmed employees have logged approximately 15,000 volunteer hours through Global Day of Good, supporting hundreds of nonprofits across the globe.

In the U.S., volunteer projects this year include assembling science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) kits for students, packing and preparing meals at local food banks, supporting environmental stewardship through beach cleanups and trail maintenance, creating care packages for children with serious diseases, and more. In Europe and Japan, Insmed team members will support a variety of activities, including translating children's books, participating in wellbeing workshops with local students, and refurbishing bicycles for individuals in need. With both remote and in-person activities available, all employees have the opportunity to give back, no matter where they are in the world.

"Students 2 Science is proud to be one of the many nonprofits Insmed is supporting during their fifth annual Global Day of Good," said Dan Barnett, Executive Director of Students 2 Science. "We're excited to welcome volunteers to our Whippany, NJ, headquarters and continue creating meaningful learning opportunities for students. Initiatives like this demonstrate the power of community collaboration and the impact organizations can have when they come together in service of others."

Global Day of Good is one of the many ways that Insmed supports its local communities throughout the year. In addition to this annual day of service, the Company offers year-round volunteer opportunities, matching gift programs, paid time off to volunteer, and philanthropic engagements.
