New Frost Fridays launch at Globe Life Field, along with expanded support of Rangers Youth Academy's financial literacy program
ARLINGTON, Texas, April 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost Bank and the Texas Rangers today announced a partnership designating Frost as the team's Official Financial Literacy Partner. This collaboration, and first-ever MLB partnership for the Texas-based bank, recognizes financial literacy as critical to empowering the Dallas-Fort Worth region, a key commitment of both organizations.
Officially kicking off at the Rangers' first home game on April 3, the partnership will reach families across Texas through two key initiatives: Rangers Youth Academy programming presented by Frost, offering hands-on financial literacy education, and Frost Fridays, special game day activations designed for fans during all Friday home games this season.
"Partnering with the Texas Rangers is a natural fit for Frost, with shared values of integrity, caring and excellence as a testament of our commitment to Texas communities," said Rod Washington, Frost's region president for the Dallas area.
Hadley Woerner, Frost's region president in Tarrant County, added, "We're looking forward to sharing the most exciting moments of the Rangers' season with our customers across North Texas."
Partnership Highlights:
- Rangers Youth Academy - Money Smarts at the Academy presented by Frost: In partnership with the Rangers Foundation, Frost will connect with Rangers fans and Texas families through programming on practical money skills - budgeting, saving, and smart spending - in ways that resonate with young learners. The partnership also includes a $10,000 scholarship awarded to one Youth Academy participant.
- Frost Fridays: For all Friday home games at Globe Life Field, Frost Fridays will feature interactive activities, exclusive giveaways and special promotions as part of the gameday experience. Fans will encounter Frost branding throughout the stadium and during broadcast integrations. More details on specific Frost Friday activations at Globe Life Field will be announced soon.
"Partnering with Frost allows us to further our Foundation's commitment to developing the next generation," said Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer of the Texas Rangers, Jim Cochrane. "Through Youth Academy programming and Frost Friday experiences at Globe Life Field, this relationship will create meaningful opportunities that emphasize financial literacy for young people throughout the Metroplex."
Frost and the Texas Rangers have long recognized their responsibility to strengthen DFW and Texas communities. For more than 150 years, Frost has invested in financial education across the state, while the Rangers have built powerful youth development programs and community partnerships, making this a natural collaboration.
The partnership also signals Frost's continued expansion of its growing sponsorship portfolio, which includes the San Antonio Spurs, the Houston Rockets, and MLS' Austin FC - all fan favorite teams across Texas.
San Antonio-based Frost Bank traces its Texas roots back to its founding in 1868. It has had locations in the Dallas and Fort Worth regions for several decades, and with its recent expansion program, now has 66 financial centers across the Dallas, Denton, Rockwall County and Tarrant County areas.
