Company donates more than $107,000 to Junior Achievement and logs 6,100-plus volunteer hours
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its yearlong 50th anniversary celebration, Jack Henry® (Nasdaq: JKHY) is commemorating five decades of community impact with a $107,450 donation to Junior Achievement USA (JA) and more than 6,100 volunteer hours logged across the United States.
Jack Henry President and CEO Greg Adelson formally presented the donation to JA representatives during the October 19 opening session of the Jack Henry® Connect client conference in Kansas City.
Jack Henry associates selected JA through a companywide vote that invited them to choose the recipient of the company's 50th anniversary charitable grant. JA received nearly 76% of the vote, reflecting strong associate support for the organization's mission: preparing young people for future success through financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs. By supporting JA, Jack Henry is advancing its purpose of empowering people and communities to gain the financial freedom to move forward through education, opportunity, and economic mobility.
The grant includes a $100,000 company gift as part of Jack Henry's anniversary celebration, along with $7,450 donated by associates.
"Celebrating 50 years in business is ultimately about celebrating the people and communities that have made our success possible," Adelson said. "Our associates selected an organization whose mission aligns closely with our commitment to improving financial health, and they backed that decision not only with their votes but with their personal generosity. Together, we've demonstrated what it means to live our guiding principle of doing the right thing."
The funding will support JA programs at both the national and local levels, benefitting over 50,000 students across the country:
- $35,000 will support JA Future Bound, a program that helps students develop career readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills through local, state, and national competitions.
- $10,000 will provide general operating support for Junior Achievement USA.
- The remaining funds will be distributed equally among seven local JA chapters serving communities where Jack Henry has a significant presence:
- Junior Achievement of Alabama
- Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas
- Junior Achievement of Dallas
- Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa
- Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City
- Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana
- Junior Achievement of San Diego County
"At Junior Achievement, we are committed to giving students access to opportunity-filled futures by providing career-connected learning that accelerates economic mobility," said Tim Greinert, President of Junior Achievement USA. "We are incredibly thankful to Jack Henry and its associates for their investment in JA learning experiences in communities where they work and live. Their support is preparing today's students for what's next."
The JA donation complemented Jack Henry's 50 Days of Service campaign, a companywide volunteer initiative that ran from August 3 through October 9. Associates across the country participated in volunteer projects ranging from food bank assistance and environmental stewardship efforts to educational outreach and youth-focused programs. The campaign concluded with associates contributing more than 6,100 volunteer hours, surpassing the company's goal of 5,000 hours.
