Mr. Ryan Cheung reports

Simon Tam has resigned as director and chief executive officer of Xemplar Energy Corp. to pursue his independent business interests. The board would like to thank to Mr. Tam for his contribution and wishes him all the best in the future. Ryan E. Cheung, an incumbent director, has been appointed as chief executive officer. Mr. Cheung brings a wealth of experience to the company, having served as a director and officer for several companies in the areas of natural resource exploration and development.

The company further announces that the shareholders of the company have approved, at its 2013 annual general meeting, the consolidation of the issued and outstanding shares of the company on the basis of one new share for five old shares.
