WESTJET REPORTS ON VOTING RESULTS FROM 2015 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

WestJet Airlines Ltd. has released the voting results from its annual general meeting held May 5, 2015, in Calgary, Alta. The total number of shares represented by shareholders present in person and by proxy at the meeting was 61.2 million, representing 48.5 per cent of WestJet's issued and outstanding common voting shares and variable voting shares.

The requisite number of shareholders voted in favour of all items of business, including election of each of the 11 director nominees.
