Westbridge sends crew, kit to Bivens field for workover

2014-04-08 07:40 ET - News Release

Mr. Tosan Omatsola reports

WESTBRIDGE ANNOUNCES MOBILIZATION OF WORK OVER CREW AND EQUIPMENT FOR BIVENS FIELD

As an update to its news release dated March 18, 2014, Westbridge Energy Corp., alongside Black Pearl Holdings LLC, has mobilized a work crew and the Baker Hughes's STIMGun propellant-assisted perforating system to the Bivens field in Beauregard parish, Louisiana. The work crew and equipment are scheduled to be on location by the end of the week. Production results will be available several days after the workover of the Olympia Minerals No. 2 well has been completed.

Westbridge and Black Pearl also anticipate securing a work crew and fracture equipment for the 11,300-foot sand of the Olympia Minerals No. 1 well at Bivens field in the near term. Similar to the OM No. 2, Baker Hughes will be conducting this workover.

Tosan Omatsola, president and chief executive officer of Westbridge, comments: "The workover of the wells at Bivens field will mark a significant step forward for Westbridge and its partnership with Black Pearl Holdings LLC. It is anticipated these workovers will produce results similar to the initial production rates at the time these wells were drilled and may provide cash flow sufficient to sustain the ongoing operations of both companies. The OM No. 1 had initial test rates of 240 barrels of oil per day and one million cubic feet of gas per day, and the OM No. 2 had initial test rates of 160 barrels of oil per day and 800,000 cubic feet of gas per day."
