VIKING GOLD APPOINTS NEW CFO

Viking Gold Exploration Inc.'s board of directors has appointed Lon Vining, CPA, CA, as the chief financial officer for the company.

Mr. Vining is an experienced accounting executive with more than 25 years of experience in strategic financial management for multiple industries. He has been the CFO and senior accounting executive for various venture companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. He understands acquisitions, mergers and divestitures, banking and investor relations, and the creation of sound financial infrastructures to support the continuing movements of emerging and established businesses alike.
