James Dines, writing in a Feb. 28, 2014, issue of The Dines Letter, says buy Uranerz Energy Corp. at $1.89. He first recommended the stock on April 24, 2009, at $1.24. He said sell on July 23, 2010, at $1.12. Assuming an investment of $1,000, selling at $1.12 would have yielded a loss of $97. Mr. Dines then said buy the stock back immediately at $1.12 because he had "sellers remorse." On April 15, 2014, he conquered his remorse and said sell again at 98 cents. Assuming another investment of $1,000, selling at 98 cents would have yielded a loss of $126. The editor says he has been turning bullish on uranium lately, and just this week, Ux Weekly reported that investment banks have exited the uranium market. This, the editor says, removes the spot market by means of carry trades, and was the cherry on top of a good chance for a new bull market. Mr. Dines says he was led to sense a uranium resurgence after taking account of the mass fear, the muddled blaming of Fukushima (vilifying the nuclear industry instead of the true culprits behind an inadequate wall against a tsunami that washed over the city), the clear need for a clean energy source of large amounts that will last for centuries to come and a possible base formation in uranium-mining stocks.
