DOMTAR EXPANDS PERSONAL CARE PORTFOLIO WITH PURCHASE OF BUTTERFLY HEALTH INC.

Every day, Domtar Corp. improves the quality of peoples' lives by providing dignity and choice through its personal care products. In line with its strategy and core capabilities, Domtar has purchased the assets of Butterfly Health Inc.

Butterfly body liners offer discreet, secure protection for accidental bowel leakage (ABL). "This product provides a unique solution to a problem that exists for roughly one out of 10 people. It represents a complementary addition to our portfolio of brands and technologies," stated Mike Fagan, president of Domtar Personal Care.

Domtar Personal Care designs, manufactures and sells a wide range of incontinence solutions for adults, children and infants. Brands include Attends, Attends Discreet and Comfees.

The Butterfly absorbent core is based on Domtar's air-laid materials produced at its Jesup, Ga., facility.

Butterfly body liners were introduced in 2014 and are currently sold in North America through several major retail channels. Domtar will leverage its global footprint to expand commercialization to additional health care markets, with a focus on Europe.
