Mr. Nick Taylor reports
SOFTROCK MINERALS ISSUES PROGRESS REPORT
Nick Taylor, president of Softrock Minerals Ltd., has issued an update on the company's operations as reported in detail on SEDAR and the company's website.
He stated that the audited annual report for 2015 showed a 230-per-cent increase in annual revenue over the previous year to $63,560, followed by an unaudited first quarter 2016 of an increase over the same quarter in 2015 of 27 per cent.
He attributed the increases to the 2.5-per-cent gross overriding royalty Softrock holds in the first well on a 640-acre lease in the Charlie Lake oil field of northwest Alberta, and on which there is room for three or more wells.
"The company plans in the next two quarters to expand its lithium and potash permits in Alberta and also to participate for 50 per cent in recompleting a Cardium oil well in the Ferrier oil field of western Alberta."
