PACIFIC & WESTERN CREDIT CORP. CHANGES ITS CORPORATE NAME TO PWC CAPITAL INC.
Pacific & Western Credit Corp. has officially changed its name to PWC Capital Inc. The
company's securities will continue to trade on the Toronto Stock
Exchange under the trading symbol PWC. Trading under the new
name will commence on TSX on Friday, April 25, 2014.
"The name change will better reflect PWC's business activities and will
ensure there is no confusion between PWC and Pacific & Western Bank of
Canada, a Schedule I bank that we presently hold a majority investment
in," said David R. Taylor, president and chief executive officer, with respect to the name
change.
The name change was approved by special resolution of the shareholders
at the company's annual and special meeting held on March 27, 2014.
