POWERSHARES CANADA ANNOUNCES CASH DISTRIBUTIONS FOR TSX-LISTED ETFS

PowerShares Canada has declared the July, 2014, distributions for its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Unitholders of record on July 30, 2014, will receive cash distributions payable on Aug. 8, 2014. Details of the per-unit distribution amounts are as indicated in the attached table.

On April 15, 2014, PowerShares Ultra DLUX Long Term Government Bond Index ETF was renamed PowerShares Ultra Liquid Long Term Government Bond Index ETF. The name change reflects the new name of its underlying index.

The tax composition of the PowerShares ETFs' distributions will be determined on an annual basis and will only be available after the PowerShares ETFs' tax year-end.
