PURPOSE BEST IDEAS FUND EXPANDS OFFERING WITH NON-CURRENCY HEDGED SHARES AND U.S. DOLLAR PURCHASE OPTIONS

Purpose Investments Inc. has launched exchange-traded-fund non-currency-hedged shares of the popular Purpose Best Ideas Fund. The ETF non-currency hedged shares of the fund will commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange today under the ticker symbol PBI.B. The fund now also offers Series A and Series F non-currency-hedged mutual fund shares for purchase by investors in both Canadian and U.S. dollars.

"To help Canadians invest according to their preferences and views on the U.S. dollar, Purpose will offer hedged, non-hedged and U.S.-dollar versions for certain strategies, including the Purpose Best Ideas Fund," said Som Seif, president and chief executive officer, Purpose. "The Purpose Best Ideas Fund has been well received by the market since our initial launch in April, but we know there are investors who are attracted to this strategy but do not want to hedge their currency exposure. The addition of these series will enable a wider range of investors to access this innovative strategy."
