Naturally Splendid hires Colon to manage HempOmega

2015-03-10 08:39 ET - News Release

Mr. J. Craig Goodwin reports

NATURALLY SPLENDID ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF BOREAL VP AND OVER $300,000 OF WARRANT EXERCISED

Naturally Splendid Enterprises Ltd. has retained the services of Dennis Colon, vice-president of operations from Boreal Technologies. Mr. Colon will be directly involved in the transfer of omega technology obtained under the agreement between the company and Full Spectrum Laboratories Ltd. Furthermore, Mr. Colon will be key in the implementation of strategies as the company continues to progress with its plans to commercialize HempOmega through its strategic partnership with Nature's Health Products Canada Corp., a member of the POS Group of Companies based in Saskatoon. Naturally Splendid vice-president of operations Bryan Carson reports: "Mr. Colon has been instrumental in the development of HempOmega. We have witnessed his abilities first hand and have worked closely with him for over 18 months fine-tuning the manufacturing process for HempOmega to meet Naturally Splendid's strict requirements. We are fortunate to add Dennis to the Naturally Splendid team as we take these next steps toward commercializing this technology."

Mr. Colon states: "The omega extraction and formulation technology developed at Boreal continues to be a very exciting project. The opportunity to bring together the science and technology created at Boreal, along with POS Bioscience's manufacturing capabilities and Naturally Splendid's vision to enter the $35-billion global omega market has been a highlight of my 15-plus years in the industry. We are working towards obtaining our first purchase orders from POS clients and other interested parties worldwide."
