NORANDA INCOME FUND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING VOTING RESULTS

Noranda Income Fund has released the voting results from its annual general meeting of unitholders held on April 28, 2016.

At the annual general meeting, there were six holders of priority units and special fund units of the fund represented in person or by proxy, holding 19,669,176 units and representing 39.35 per cent of the fund's 49,989,975 issued and outstanding units. The results of the vote for the election of trustees was as shown in the attached table.

Noranda Income owns the electrolytic zinc processing facility and ancillary assets located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Que. The processing facility is the second-largest zinc processing facility in North America and the largest zinc processing facility in eastern North America, where the majority of zinc customers are located. It produces refined zinc metal and various byproducts from sourced zinc concentrates. The processing facility is operated and managed by Canadian Electrolytic Zinc Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Glencore Canada Corp.
