NRG METALS ANNOUNCES INCREASE OF FLOW-THROUGH UNITS IN NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Further to the news releases of April 5, 2016, and April 6, 2016, NRG Metals Inc. has increased the previously announced private placement of flow-through units from five million flow-through units at 7.5 cents per flow-through unit to nine million flow-through units at 7.5 cents.

Each flow-through unit will consist of one common share and one transferable non-flow-through common share purchase warrant of the company, with each warrant exercisable for a period of three years from the closing at a price of 10 cents per share.

At the request of IIROC (Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada), the company confirms that there is no material fact or material change about the company that has not already been generally disclosed. Closing of the private placement is subject to a number of conditions, including receipt of all necessary approvals, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
