PALA INVESTS IN NEVADA COPPER CORP.

Pala Investments Holdings Ltd. (PIHL) has acquired 5,399,050 common shares of Nevada Copper Corp. (NCU), representing approximately 10.17 per cent of the 53,106,000 issued and outstanding common shares of NCU, as known by PIHL. The common shares were acquired through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange over the period from March 29, 2010, to Aug. 24, 2010, and via a private placement by NCU on April 27, 2010.

After giving effect to the acquisitions referred to above, PIHL owns and controls, directly and indirectly, a total of 5,399,050 common shares representing approximately 10.17 per cent of the issued and outstanding shares of NCU, as known by PIHL.

The average consideration for each common share of NCU acquired was $2.78 per common share. PIHL has acquired the common shares for investment purposes and may increase or decrease the investment in the common shares depending upon future market conditions.
