MEDWELL CAPITAL REPORTS Q3 RESULTS
Medwell Capital Corp. has released its financial and operational results for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2014.
Financial results
For the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2014, the consolidated net loss of the corporation was $1,078,000 (14 cents per share), as compared with a net income of $1,735,000 (24-cent income per share) for the same period last year. The loss for the quarter largely reflects an unrealized loss of $697,000 on the Spectral investment.
The company continues to manage costs judiciously and ended the quarter with $3.5-million in cash and cash equivalents.
As at Sept. 30, 2014, there were 7,282,589 common shares issued and outstanding.
