ALPHA RECEIVES SECURITYHOLDER APPROVAL FOR PLAN OF ARRANGEMENT AND LAKELAND RECEIVES SHAREHOLDER APPROVAL FOR CONSOLIDATION

Alpha Exploration Inc.'s and Lakeland Resources Inc.'s respective shareholders have approved key elements of a previously announced business combination transaction.

The shareholders and warrantholders of Alpha Exploration approved a plan of arrangement at a special meeting held on Sept. 15, 2015. A special resolution approving the Alpha Exploration arrangement was approved by: (i) 96.01 per cent of the votes cast by Alpha Exploration shareholders; and (ii) 97 per cent of the votes cast by Alpha Exploration securityholders, voting together as a single class.

The shareholders of Lakeland Resources approved a share consolidation, on the basis of one new share for three old shares at a special meeting held on Sept. 15, 2015. A special resolution approving the Lakeland Resources consolidation was approved by 95.76 per cent of the votes cast by Lakeland Resources shareholders. The Lakeland Resources consolidation, as well as a name change to ALX Uranium Corp. shall be completed immediately prior to the Alpha Exploration arrangement becoming effective.

The Alpha Exploration arrangement remains subject to final approval by both the TSX Venture Exchange and the British Columbia Supreme Court. The hearing for the final court order approving the Alpha Exploration arrangement is scheduled to take place on Sept. 22, 2015, and final exchange acceptance is expected on Sept. 23, 2015. Assuming such approvals are obtained on these dates, completion of the Lakeland Resources consolidation and Alpha Exploration arrangement will become effective prior to the opening of the market on Sept. 25, 2015.
