KINGSLAND ENERGY CORP. ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Kingsland Energy Corp. has amended and closed its previously announced private placement by issuing 2,023,810 common shares for a price of 21 cents per common share for gross proceeds of $425,000.10. The common shares issued are subject to a hold period under applicable regulatory and securities laws until Jan. 3, 2015, and under a Kingsland pooling agreement until Dec. 19, 2016. Currently, Kingsland has 73,681,038 common shares issued and outstanding. The private placement has been approved by the TSX Venture Exchange.

Proceeds of the private placement will be used for oil and gas asset development.
