Jay Taylor, in the Oct. 15, 2014, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, refreshes his buy of Klondex Mines Ltd., recently $1.79. Mr. Taylor said buy five times between Dec. 16, 2010, and Sept. 16, 2014, at prices ranging from $1.19 to $2.49. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the five buys, the $5,000 position is now worth $5,076. Klondex has discovered a third mineralized structure, Honeyrunner, at its Fire Creek project in Nevada. Twenty-two holes from a contining drill program intersected the structure, including a highlight of 0.4 metre of 2,184 g/t gold and 27 g/t silver. Honeyrunner has an estimated strike length of 472 metres, and is open along strike to the north and south. The discovery of Honeyrunner means that Fire Creek's preliminary economic assessment released earlier this year is already outdated. Mr. Taylor reminds his readers that Klondex turned a profit in the second quarter of 2014, in large part thanks to its acquisition of the Midas mine and mill from Newmont Mining Corp. The acquisition saved Klondex close to $100-million that building its own mill would have cost, and eliminated the risk of producing without available milling capacity, adds the editor. Klondex remains a buy.
