Jaguar Resources Inc. is a defendant in a lawsuit that Stockhouse Publishing Ltd. has filed in the Supreme Court of British Columbia over a $118,717 advertising bill. Stockhouse claims that it had an agreement in which it would provide Jaguar with one year of services. Jaguar, however, did not pay any part of the bill, according to the suit.
The allegations are contained in a brief notice of claim that Stockhouse filed at the Vancouver courthouse on Monday, Nov. 24. According to the suit, Jaguar agreed to purchase Stockhouse's "Capital Market 12 Month Program" on Dec. 1, 2012. Stockhouse claims that the program was designed to increase Jaguar's exposure to retail investors, brokers, analysts and newsletter writers. The price of the program was $113,064 plus taxes, bringing the total bill to $118,717, the suit states.
