iSign installs Smart Antennas in Golden Pantry outlets

2015-04-01 12:55 ET - News Release

Mr. Alex Romanov reports

ISIGN MEDIA PROVIDES AN UPDATE ON THE GOLDEN PANTRY AND EXPANSION OF THE NATIONAL MOBILE NETWORK

iSign Media Solutions Inc. has provided an update on the Golden Pantry installations and expansion of the national mobile network (NMN).

The installation into the 38 Golden Pantry Food Stores outlets in the greater Atlanta area operating at Shell gas stations was the first phase of the planned NMN expansion. The installation into these 38 locations is serving as a pilot program for the Golden Pantry chain, which will become a part of the expanding NMN located in convenience store/gas stations throughout the United States.

The second phase of the NMN expansion will be attained based on the advertising trials currently taking place in the 38 Golden Pantry locations. Currently, there are four major national brands using iSign's Smart Antennas to broadcast their advertisements.

The original brands that utilized the network, Swisher Sweets, Kellogg's and Mars, have been broadcasting on the network since mid-February. A fourth brand, an internationally known carbonated beverage company, has been advertising on the network since the end of March, once its concerns on privacy were resolved (please refer to iSign's website for the company's privacy policy) to its satisfaction.

Brand and advertisers' recognition and acceptance of the value that iSign's technology will bring to them will be the ultimate driver of the NMN expansion, as the advertising dollars will provide the justification and revenues to expand.

Meetings have been arranged with the original brands broadcasting on the network to present the results to date of their advertisements and messaging. Meetings are scheduled to take place next week.

The ultimate goal of these meetings is to have the brands agree to expand into the NMN in established networks, including the Marathon chain located in Ohio and Indiana, as well as other convenience store/gas station chains currently under negotiations. The contracting of these brands throughout the NMN will result in continuing monthly licensing revenue to iSign.

We seek Safe Harbor.
