IDM MINING LTD. CLOSES SHARES FOR DEBT SETTLEMENT

The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted IDM Mining Ltd.'s shares-for-debt settlement previously announced on Oct. 12, 2016. An aggregate of 3.75 million common shares have been issued by the company at a deemed price of 17 cents per share to settle certain outstanding debt in the amount of $637,500 relating to the company's past operations in Mexico. All shares issued in connection with the shares-for-debt settlement are subject to a four-month statutory hold period expiring on Feb. 22, 2017, in accordance with applicable securities legislation.
