The Investment Reporter, in its July 24, 2015, issue, refreshes its buy of Hardwoods Distribution Inc., recently $17.75. The Reporter said buy four times from Sept. 13, 2013, to April 17, 2015, at prices ranging from $8.30 to $12.96. Assuming an investment of $1,000 for each of the four buys, the $4,000 position would now be worth $6,833. In the three months ended March 31, 2015, the hardwood lumber provider earned $4.7-million, or 28 cents a share, compared with $3-million, or 18 cents a share, in the same period last year. The company generated sales of $135-million in the first quarter of 2015, up from $101-million a year earlier. Cash flow in the first quarter of 2015 increased to $4.59-million, confirming the higher earnings.
