Subject to regulatory approval, David Lane, of Vancouver, B.C., has been appointed as president and chief executive officer of First Sahara Energy Inc. Mr. Lane has significant experience with both public and private companies across multiple industries.

The company thanks David Stadnyk, who is resigning to focus on his other business interests, for his past service to the company.
