FIRST GLOBAL UPDATE ON PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Further to its press release dated March 7, 2017, First Global Data Ltd. is increasing the number of units being offered pursuant to the non-brokered private placement from 14,285,714 to up to 14,391,429 at a price of 70 cents per unit for gross proceeds of up to $10,074,000.

Other than the increase in the number of units being offered, all other terms of the units and private placement, as set out in the company's press release of March 7, 2017, remain the same.

The company is in receipt of all of the associated subscription documentation relative to the private placement, and proceeds are currently being held in trust. Closing of the private placement is anticipated to be on or about March 21, 2017, and is subject to receipt of the TSX Venture Exchange and other applicable regulatory approvals.
