Fire River Gold Corp. has confirmed the cease trade order received from the British Columbia Securities Commission on March 7, 2014, and the subsequent suspension of trading in the company's stock by the TSX Venture Exchange. This action was taken due to the company's not filing its annual financial statements due on Feb. 28, 2014, and non-payment of required TSX-V fees.
