ELECTRA APPOINTS DAVID ZHANG TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Electra Stone Ltd. has appointed David Zhang as a director of the company.

Mr. Zhang has a master's degree in money and banking from Zhongnan University in Wuhan, China. He has worked in the financial and banking sector in China for the last 20 years, and is currently the manager of Metath Investments, a Shenzhen-based investment fund. Mr. Zhang manages all Canadian operations and represents the interests of Metath in Vancouver, B.C.

John Costigan, president and director of Electra, commented, "We are very pleased to have Mr. Zhang join the Electra board; his knowledge and experience with international finance between North American and Asian markets is an essential component to the future development of our goals in the region."
