ELECTRA STONE LTD (TSXV:ELT) COMMENCES JADE PROSPECTING PROGRAM

Electra Stone Ltd. has commenced a 90-day prospecting program on its nephrite jade projects near Dease Lake, B.C. The program will focus on new and known areas of jade mineralization with the goal of identifying jade exploration targets for the 2016 season. The program will initially be focused on Electra's recently acquired Polar placer project but will also include prospecting on regional opportunities and other Electra Stone jade claims within the B.C. jade mining region.

John Costigan, president and chief executive officer, commented, "We are very excited to execute on the first stage of our jade strategy and look forward to continuing Electra's development in the B.C. jade industry."
